Russell Good of Londesboro died May 3, 1990 at Clinton Public Hospital. He was 84 years of age. He was born in Hullett township and farmed there for many years. He married the former Margaret Yungblut who survives him. Also surviving are two daughters, Helen and her husband John Lyons, RR 1, Londesboro and Sandra and her husband Randy Logan, London. He was predeceased by four brothers, Robert, Wellington, William and Edward Good and by two step­ sisters, Frances Hood and Eliza­ beth McDougall. He is survived by one step-sister, Gladys, Mrs. Douglas Campbell, RR 3, Blyth. Rev. David Snihur of Londesboro United Church where Mr. Good was a member, officiated at the funeral service on May 6 at the Tasker Chapel of the Beattie-Fal­ coner Funeral Home, Blyth. Inter­ ment was in Blyth Union Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Ken Longman, Keith Good, Ralph and James Campbell, Tom and Louis Yungblut. Flower bearers were Kathy Popp and Sarah, Tim and Michael Lyons. CECIL [TED] BATEMAN Mr. Cecil (Ted) Bateman of Ethel passed away at Stratford General Hospital on Friday, May 4, 1990, in his 88th year. Surviving is his family, Helen and her husband John Coghlin of Listowel; Bruce and his wife Ursula of Stratford; Robert and his wife Margaret of Ethel, Marjorie and her husband Jim Struthers of Ethel; and Jean and her husband Pete Dragomatz of Oshawa; Doris Hanna McNeilly of Kitchener; daughter-in-law Joan Bateman of Ethel; 29 grandchildren; 44 great­ grandchildren and two great-great­ grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife the former Edythe Ames in 1969; one son Donald in 1969; one grand child and one great-grandchild. The late Mr. Ted Bateman rested at the Peebles Funeral Home, 141 John St., Atwood for visitation on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service was held on Mon­ day, May 7 at 2 p.m. Interment was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Ethel. Pallbearers were Bruce Struth­ ers, Terry Dragomatz, Terry Bate­ man. Allan, Joe and Dean Hanna. Officiating was the Rev. Cam McMillan from Ethel United Church. MRS. MARIE JACKLIN Mrs. Marie Jacklin, the former Marie Orschekowsky and widow of the late Harold Jacklin of Listowel passed away in Stratford General Hospital on Sunday, May 6, 1990 in her 78th year. She is survived by two daught­ ers, Florence and her husband Gordon Delion of Listowel and Cathy Widmeyer of Kitchener and two sons, Harry and his wife Mary Ellen of Trowbridge and Bill and his wife Betty of London. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and by one brother, John Orton and his wife Pauline of Lethbridge, Alber­ ta. She was predeceased by her parents the late Anton Orchekow- ski, and the former Helen Kirsch; one sister, Helen Spence and one son, Edward. The late Mrs. Marie Jacklin rested at the Peebles Funeral Home, 141 John St., Atwood for visitation Monday evening from 7 - 9 and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service and commital will be held on Wednes­ day, May 9 at 2 p.m. Interment in Brussels Cemetery. Rev. Audrey Whitney from Trowbridge United Church will officiate. As expres­ sions of sympathy donations to the charity of your choice are appre­ ciated. Pallbearers are grandsons, Wil­ liam Jacklin of Ottawa; Allan Jacklin of Trowbridge; Randy Delion, Gary Widmeyer, Mike Delion and Ken Jacklin all of Kitchener. Flower bearers are granddaughters Debbie Jacklin of London, Beth Delion of Cambridge, Rosalia Jacklin of Trowbridge and Tobey Widmeyer of Kitchener. NICHOLAS MOORE Baby Nicholas Roger Moore passed away at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital, Goderich on Saturday, April 28, 1990. He is survived by his parents Roger Moore and Christine (McNall) of RR 4, Goderich, grand­ parents Tom and Betty Moore, RR 4, Goderich and Donald McNall of Blyth, great-grandparents, Mrs. Bessie Moore of Goderich and Mrs. Mildred McNall of Blyth. Aunts Brenda Alizedeh Henry of Toronto, Marlene Toll of Blyth, Marsha Szusz of Londesboro and uncles Stephen Moore of Calgary; Andy Moore, RR 4, Goderich and Joe Moore of Toronto also survive. He was predeceased by maternal grandmother Marjorie McNall, great-grandmother Rena Watt and uncle Murray McNall. A private family service was held on Friday, May 4, 1990 Rev. Richard Magie officiated. Inter­ ment in Colborne Cemetery. Appealing smiles May is Red Shield Month and members from the Salvation Army will be conducting a door-to-door canvass.
