An invitation extended by the village trustees, Dublin businessmen and the Dublin and District Chamber of Com- merce has been accepted and arrangements for the visit are completed, according to village officials. Santa will receive area chil- dren from a special stage be- ing erected in front of the vil= lage Christmas tree on the Main Street. He is expected at 2:00 o'clock, when he will be- gin distributing gifts to area children. Dublin has made special pre- parations for Christmas this year. The Lions Bantams, many of whom were playing their first game in this league after step- ping up from the Peewee league, took the lead after only 25 sec- onds of play, when Hank Scott scored on a pass from Brian Leonhardt. Penalties proved costly to the Seaforth team in this period as Mitchell tied the score at the 11 -minute mark, with Strathadee scoring. Ted WiIbee, Murray Henderson _and Don Murray were penalized in this period. Mitchell came on strongly in the second period and Stratha- dee beat Gene Kruse in the Seaforth goal to give the visi- tors the lead, until Murray scor- ed in the third period. There were eight penalties handed out during the game — five to the Seaforth team and three to Mit- chell.
