who is deceased, was the for-
mer Emma Rose, and his fam-
ily .are: Mrs. Joe (Roma) Smith
of Stratford, William of Brod-
hagen, and Mrs. George (Geor-
gine) Young of Stratford. One
son, Carl, died a number of
years ago. There are eight
grandchildren and 11 great-
grandchildren.
Mr. Diegel is active and heal-
thy and keeps busy in his wood-
working shop making cedar
chests, writing desks, etc. He
is a member of St. Peter's Luth-
eran Church, Brodhagen, and
belongs to the Community For-
um and enjoys playing progres-
sive euchre in the winter, and
in the summer is on the swing
bowling team of St. Peter's
Lutheran Church.
Mr: Ed. Smith, RR 1, Born-
holm, who was 81 on the same
day, have been celebrating their
birthdays together. Mr. Diegel
was at home to his relatives
and friends at the Brodhagen
and District Community Centre
between 2 and 5 o'clock on Sun-
day afternoon.
Rev. Harold Brill, who has
been absent from his congrega-
tion through illness for the past
four months, will be in charge.

the week in Thamesford with
her son, Henry Leonhardt, and
Mrs. Leonhardt.
Members of the Church Board
and their wives of St. Peter's
Lutheran Church were guests
of Rev. Harold Brill at the
home of his parents in Preston
on Sunday.

confined to Stratford Hospital.

father, Gustave Eisler.
Mr. and Mrs. Dalton Hinz
spent the weekend with her sis-

Community Hall on Saturday
evening.
Mrs. Robert Weitzel is con-
fined to Victoria Hospital, Lon-
don.

funeral of Mrs. William Mikel
in Mitchell on Wednesday and
Gustave Eisler, Logan, on Sat-
urday.
