J. If. Vardy to continue the
study of the book, "The Word
and the Way." Mr. Vardy brief-
ly reviewed chapter 1, which
dealt with Religion; then be-
gan to deal with chapter 2,
which explains very clearly
about "God the Creator." The
doctrine of creation is a basic
Christian belief. God is the
creator. He created the world
out of nothing. It is His crea-
tion. and it is good. Believing
in God as Creator, we believe
that God created us, body and
soul. We can rejoice in what
God has given to us; we can
use our talents to the full and
commit all we do to a wise Cre-
ator. A discussion period fol-
lowed, when many interesting
facts pertaining to the study
were discussed.
Mr. Vardy closed with prayer,
and prayer by Mrs. Boyes
brought the meeting to a close.
Lunch was served by ladies
from Group 4, with Mrs. E.
Papple as hostess.
