Mrs. Henry Leonhardt, Sr., Mrs. Herman Leonhardt and Mrs. Henry Leonhardt, Jr., at- tended a shower for Miss Mar- garet Poland at the home of Mrs. Costello, Seaforth, Wed- nesday evening, prior to her marriage to Kenneth Drager this Saturday. Mrs. Wm. Bennewies, Sr., re- ceived word of the death in a car accident of her brother, John Kahle, at Commerce, Mich., former resident of Logan Township. The sympathy of the community is extended to Mrs. Bennewies and other relatives. Mrs. John E. Siemon and Al- lan attended the Getke-Green wedding reception, Mitchell, on Saturday evening. Pro- gram" at the Community Hall last Wednesday evening. A play entitled, "Who Murdered Who?" was presented, also readings,' duets, skits, accordian selection, trumpet solo and sing song. ' The Hensall Playground will begin Tuesday, July 3, at the Arena, and will c o n.t i n u e throughout the month. Tues- day will be registration only. All children between the ages of five and 12 are welcome to at- tend. The program will run from 9 a.m. to 12 every week day, except Friday, when the children will go swimming at Seaforth 'Lions pool, providing parents will volunteer to drive.
