Mrs. A. Greenstreet played tear

Lord's Prayer" and "The Wed-
ding March".
The bride, given ill marriage
by her father, chose, a gown of
white Chantilly lace, with sculp-
tured neckline, long sleeves and
fitted bodice. The skirt,' tiered
and bouffant, was gathered with
roses. A head piece of silk or-
ganza, roses and a spray of"seed
pearls, held her tiered sholder-
length veil. ,She' carried a white
Prayer Book with red pinnochi .
roses and streamers of white
stephanotis.
Mrs. Sonia Beatty, coesin of
the bride, was matron of honor
and her two bridesmaids were
Miss Ruth Ennis, Kitchener and
Miss Carol Stevenson, of West
Hill. They all wore turquoise
gem organza dresses with fitted
bodices and shirred bell-shaped
skirts, with matching circular
veils held in place by e cluster
of org,anza roses. They carried
colonial roses and shasta mums
and tea roses in pink for the ma-
tron of honor and yellow for the
bridesmaids.
The receptin was held at die
Rouge Hills Golf and Country
Club, with •the bride's mother
receiving in a hyacinth mauve
lace and organza dress with
ma:•ching accessories and a cor-
sage of yellow periot roses and
white carnations. She was as-
sisted by the groom's Mother,
wearing a lace dress of amber
rose with brown accessories and
a corsage of bronze Johanna Hill
roses.
The bridal couple left by plane
for a honeymoon in Florida.
The bride chose for travelling a
beige suit and hat with antique
brown accessories and a. con.„..
s age of 'talisman roses. • On their
return they will reside in Hamil-
ton where the groom is on the
staff of Westdale Collegiate.

teresting and helpful meeting
Tuesday. evening. The opening
item on the program was an
Easter story by the president,
who also welcomed Mrs. Doug-
las O. Fry, the new minister's
wife. Minutes. were read by the
secretary, Mrs. J. E. Patterson,
after which Miss Meta Reeves
sang the solo, "He Lives," ac-
companied by Mrs. M. R. Ren-
nie. Miss, Janet Cluff reported
a substantial amount having
been sent to the Presbyterianl. A
letter of appreciation was read
from Miss Lily MacArthur.
An invitation to attend the
Madeline Lane meeting in Clin
ton on May 8, was accepted.
Mrs. Keith Sharp conducted the
devotional part of the meeting,
when the Scripture lesson was
read by Mrs. R. K. 'McFarlane,
with prayer by Mrs. J. E. Pat-
terson. The collection was re-
ceived by Mrs. J. Broome. The
WMS anniversary of the Pres-
byterian Church in Canada was
discussed. Mrs. Broome read a
poem, "As On the Way We go."
Mrs. Kerslake gave the re-
port on the Synodical held in
Hamilton recently. Rev. Mal-
colm, who is the son-in-law of
the late Dr. Nimmo, of Wixigr..
ham, said in part: "Millions 'o£
people in the world have never
yet heard of Jesus. We are
Christ's hands and no others
can do his work." Mrs.. A. S.
Kerr, a missionary, said that
the Canadian Indians are doing
a good work. She also touched
on Formosa and their motto is,
"Come, See, Go, Tell." If we
do our part we can leave the
rest with God. Mrs. Kerslake
told the story in an earnest and
thoughtful manner, and brought
home to the group the need for
more workers and more money.
Mrs. Sharp thanked Mrs. Kers-
lake, and the meeting closed
with an Eatster hymn. •
