on the expanding demand for their started" pullets'
There's a trend toward started pullets in Ontario. More and more egg producers
are finding that it pays to buy replacement pullets when they are nearly ready
to lay, instead of raising them from baby chicks. But the demand for "Hender-
son" started pullets is growing much faster than the normal trend. here's a
reason. "Henderson" pullets are building a reputation for better -than -average
ability to make money for the people who buy them. That's why Henderson has
built the new extension to his plant, ,which he is officially opening on February 28.
-C Pioneer -Cafeteria starting' and growing feeds are used exclusively
in the production of Henderson Started Pullets.

FAMOUS LOGSDON "H & N" CHICKS
ARE WORTH 'COMPARING!!
LIVABILITY; H & N Nick Chick Leghorns have earned a
record of 85% livability in ELEVEN
YEARS OF OFFICIAL RANDOM TESTING, compared to
the test average of those years of 76%. It is important to note
that- this record was established not by one group of birds in , "" `' .
one test, but by ELEVEN ENTIRELY SEPARATE groups, of
llirds, some, purposely exposed to leukosis. Thus H & N provides long range, proof of high
livability because one year's test is never a reliable indication of true strain comparison.
QUALITY: H & N maintains and improves your production of top market grades. Each
year thousands of eggs from our pedigreed crossline chicks are broken and
subjected to painstaking examination to dete rmine which families produce the best shells,
;.:.£.—;• the least blood spots and best albumen quality. H &
N Nick Chick Leghorns are bred to help you cash in
On the. extra ` profits of top market grades.
