Mrs. William Riley, 68, Staf-
fa, died at her home Friday
afternoon, The former Pearl
Lavery, of Shelburne, she came
to Staffa district as a young
girl. She was a member of
Staffa United Church and is
survived by • her husband, to
whom she was married at Crom-
arty in 1917; five daughters,
Mrs. E. S. (Dorothy) Talmey
and Mrs. Hugh (Shirley) May,
both of London; Mrs. W. D.
(Janet) Deibold, Stratford; Mrs.
Carl (Alice) Knight, Windsor;
Reta, at home; two sons, Wil-
liam, Crediton: Stanley, Strat-
ford; 18 grandchildren and 15
great-grandchildren; a brother,
Milton Lavery, Hensall.
Funeral services were Mon-
day at the G. A. Whitney fun-
eral home, Seaforth. Rev, A.

and burial was in Staffa ceme-
