The leaven have already
played two games away from
Seafort h. They won the first
to Owen Sound and lost the
cconll 11) Hanover by a score
of 6 to 3. The two first per-
iods were not of the calibre of
play they played in the first
came against Owen Sound. In
the third period they woke up
and played good hockey, but
time ran out on them. They
scored 4 goals in that last per-
iod, but not enough to win or
tie the game. As this column
is written on Monday, we know
,that the Beavers are playing
'Tuesday night, we hope to have
the results of that game in the
paper, in another column or
page.
Minor Hockey Association
Well, the Minor League play-
ers have held their blitz of
booster tickets last weekend.
Some of the boys have sold as
many as 20 tickets, but a few
really slipped behind. With the
financial results of the blitz,
the Juveniles, Midgets and Ban-
tams will be ready to start
playing as scheduled.
The Seaforth Minor Hockey
Association wishes to express
their sincere thanks to the com-
munity for their support.
Here is the schedule 1965-66
for the Midgets and Bantams.
The two teams will be playing
on the same night at different
hours. The Bantam games will
start at 7 p.m. and the Midget
games at 8:30 p.m.
