the teams gets underway on
Saturday, Dec. 11, so be sure
and see that your boys is at
the Arena and be placed in a
team of his age group. The
average number of boys each
year is around 145, so you can
imagine the work involved in
handling a program of that
size. Charlie Wood and Jack
Eisler and their voluntary staff
will be handling the hockey for
the coming season.
On Thursday of this week
we'll be having the regular
monthly meeting, and besides
the ordinary business there will
be the election of the new ex-
ecutive for the coming year, so
make it a point to be there for
this important meeting,
The recent passing of Jack
Strong and Peter Murray adds
up to four Legion members who
have gone to their reward in
the last two months, which
means a further thinning of
our ranks, so we'll close with
a thought for them: "At the
going down of the sun, and in
the morning, we will remember
them."
