Logan,' council was informed
at their regular meeting that
the tombstones, in the German
Baptist cemetery at Brodhagen,•
had been placed on a slab- of
cement and the surrounding
ground Was now being land-
scaped. Council had previously
taken the cemetery over as it
had been neglected.
On the request of the' Perth
County Federation of Agricul-
ture, council decided to' -offer
$10 to each Logan resident en-
tering and completing the
Farmstead and Rural Improve-
ment Centennial Project The
donation is' not to exceed $200.
The report of the Jordan
Drain was read `and privision-
ally adopted and the tenders
are to be called for , at th
September meeting. The .,final
inspection ,certificate oii , the
Siemon Drain was received and
all accounts Were ordered paid.
No action was taken on Elma
Township's request to remove
certain lands from Union School
Sections No. 6 and No. 7.

renew the township liability
policy, and this was approved,
Two representatives of the Hur-
on County Plowmen's Associa-
tion requested a grant for the
plowing match to be held in
the Township of East Wawan-
osh, on October 9th, this year,
and council gave a grant. of
$50.0D.
Council agreed to pay Wing-,
ham Retarded Children Educa-
tion Authority, the township as-
sessment. Other motions ap-
proved included: That'the coun-
cil join and pay the member-
ship fee of $10 to the Huron
County Road Superintendent
Association. That council give
a grant of1300•to the Belgrave
Arena Board. That council give
.a grant of $21)O to the Blyth
and District Artificial Ice Fund
and if approval is given, the
balance of .the Township Cen-
tennial grant, the grant be in-
creased. That ,the council ap-
ply for U.I.C. for permanent
employment of the road- super-
intendent.
