Toronto Yard, one of four space-age yards in the System. In the yard 5,000 freight cars are
classified daily with the aid of a computer and "gravity flow" that utilizes a hump to push

Sixteln girls were present,
and during the evening games
and contests were enjoyed by
all. Elizabeth Carter won the
prize for keeping the most
clothes pins.
Emily was seated. in a decor-
ated chair, and Arlene William-
son read the following address
to her:

worked at Fairweather's Shop,

Objectives of Education in
the Schools.of Ontario

The Minister of Education has appointed a Committee to
set forth the aims and objectives of education in the
schools of ()Mari& The Committee Is desirous of having
the views of all parties interested in education in Onfario.
Briefs with regard to the aims and objectives of educa-
tion in Ontario are invited from interested organizations,
associations and individuals.
Submissions (25 copies) should be in writing and should
reach the Secretary on or before October 31, 1965. Partici-
pants are 'urged to submit briefs within the time Indicated
so that full account can be taken of the views expressed.
Copies of the terms of reference of the Committee and
further details relative to the work.of the Committee may
be obtained by writing to the undersigned.

"Going Too Fast," by Ethel
Chapman.
Mrs. Arthur Higginbotham

poem, "Spring Cleaning the
Heart." "Lord, Speak To Me"
was tsung.
Mrs. Emerson. Mitchell presid-
ed for the business. Minutes
were 'read by Mrs. Campbell
Wey. Mrs. Jim Clark reported
the morning session and Mrs.
Arthur Higginbotham,: the af-
ternoon highlights of the March
Presbyterial held in Seaforth.
Mrs. Nelson Marks, correspond-
ence secretary; read thank -you
cards. Mrs. Kenneth McDonald
gave the treasurer's report.
Mrs. Clarence Martin read
thank -you letters for bales re-
ceived.
The fowl supper program
committee was named and in-
cludes: Mrs. Nelson Reid, 'Mrs.
Wilbur Turnbull, Miss Ethel
Dennis, Mrs. Ray Huether and
Mrs. - Emerson Mitchell. Mrs.
Wilbur Turnbull reported the
centennial project committee
had ordered plates, mugs, pen
sets, hasti notes and Christmas

inseribed)., Mrs. Nelson Reid
stated the committee planned a
ball game and program, follow-
ed by picnic lunch, to take
place Sept. 18. Former minis-
ters are being invited, and Rev.
Dr. Mutchmor is- to be . guest
