ing. Mrs. Ken McKay took the
wprkship, Mrs•. W. Oesch, 'of
Zurich, demonstrated how to
.arrange Rower bouquets and
made up two lovely ones, which
'the president, Mrs. Bert Faber,
asked to be sent to any shut-
ins after the meeting.
Mrs. Ariano, of Brucefield,
was the guest speaker for the
evening. Mrs. Eileen Consitt
gave the courtesy remarks and
presented each of the guests
with a small gift.
A, report was given by each,
group leader, and final arrange-
ments made for the strawberry
supper. Mrs. Oesch sang, "An
Evening Prayer at the close of
the meeting, accompanied by
Mrs. Broadfoot on the piano.
Mrs. William Kyle and Mrs.
William Consitt were the ladies
in charge of lunch.
Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Dickert
and family, of Clifford, and ,Mr.
and Mrs. Edgar Wahl, of Lis-
towel, were Sunday guests with
Mr, and Mrs. Norman Dickert.
Mr. and Mrs. Art Ashworth

Mrs. Archie Parsons had the
misfortune of falling off a step
ladder at her home Saturday
evening. She was taken by am-
bulance to South Huron Hospi-
tal, Exeter, where X-rays were
taken.

slice a brick of fresh strawberry ice cream into, eighths,
then' tuck chocolate -coated cookies in between the brick
' slices. Once well chilled, the roll can be cut and served on
your. prettiest china. A frill of whipped . cream, along with
' the-bho.pped nut garnish, will add to the- festiveness.
FRESH STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM COOKIE ROLL-
- (Makes 6 Servings)•
One brick fresh strawberry ice cream; chocolate -coated
cookies; chopped nuts.
•Slice brick of ice cream , crosswise into eight pieces.
Between each ice cream slice, place a chocolate cookie.'
Press brick firmly together; press nuts into ice cream on
top. . Place in freezing Compartinent until serving time.
Cut diagonally.
Note: Two oblong' or triangular cookies can be used
instead of one square one.
