The valedictory address:
"Yesterday is already a dream,
And tomorrow only a vision,
But today well lived
Makes every,yesterday a dream
• of happiness,
And every tomorrow a vision
of hope."
Such are the dreams of our
"yesterdays" as we reach the
completion of our four years of
high school education. As we
reminisce, many experiences
Ricker back before us. We have
known successes, failures, joys,
sorrows; . and we realize that all
are part of the maturing pro-
cess, which we strive so valiant-
ly to effect.
The achievements of these
years never could have been
accomplished alone. We are
deeply indebted to our teachers
'whose prayerful examples and
spirit of true Christian dedica-
tion have assisted us in con-
quering many a difficult situa-
tion.
To our music supervisor, Mr.
Harley, we are sincerely grate-
ful for the patieuoe, under-
standing and invaluable musical
instruction he has given us.
TO our beloved pastors,
Father Durand and Father
Coughlin, we wish to express
sincerest thanks for their spiri-
tual guidance. They indeed,
have set a worthy example of
putting first things first, and
that means that a man saves
his soul. •
We are also indebted to the
students of the school. They
have tried to make our stay a
pleasant and enjoyable one.
Many thanks also to the
School Board, who provided us
with the necessities to -further
our education.
We also, owe a debt of grgti-
tude to te C.WL. Their ef-
forts have made this delicious
dinner possible. We wish to
thank them also for the lovely
Rosaries. And to those who
"love" and are "loved" dearly,
we say, "Thank you, Mom and
Dad"; your constant encourage-
ment and instilling of confi-
dence have helped us become
emotionally and socially mature
and directed us triumphantly
towards our goal.
We are drifting -peacefully
from the realm of yesterday
and merging with great expec-
tations into the hope of to-
morrow. May we always live
up to the ideals inspired by
the Dublin Continuation School.
