Fry officiating in First Presby-
terian Church, Seaforth.
The bride, -given in marriage
by her brother Tom, wore a
fioor-length gown of white or-
ganza over taffeta. The fitted
bodice, fashioned with lily -
point sleeves, and scoop neck-
line, was '•trimmed with lace
appliques. A beaded coronet
held her French illusion veil,
and she .carried a ,, casca'tie of
deep pink roses and Stephan-
otis.
Miss Ann Dick, of London,
was maid of honor, and Miss
Dorothy Ross was bridesmaid.
They wore identical dresses of
azure blue lace over, taffeta,
and carried cascades of baby
carnations. A pink organza
dress was worn by the flower -
girl, Sharon Cornell, niece of
the bride.
Mr. Don Piercey, of Toronto,
brother-in-law of the groom,
was -.best man. -: Ushers were
Joseph Dick and James Dick.
A reception was held follow-
ing the ceremony in the church
parlors. Guests were present
from Toronto, London, Bramp-
ton, Dungannon, Seaforth and
Dashwood.
For a wedding trip to Nia-
gara Falls and the States, the
,bride changed to- a pink boucle
suit with white accessories.
They will live in Stratford.'

day evening, July 3, at 7:30, for
the marriage ceremony of Carol
Ann Rogers, of Erindale, and
Robert G. Sears, of Woodstock.
The bride is the daughter of
Rev. and Mrs. W. J. Rogers, of
Erindale, formerly of Hensall,
and the groom's parents are

The bride, first member of
the congregation to be married
in the new Erindale United
Church—dedicated May 3, 1964
—was led down the aisle by
her father, and given away by
her grandfather, H. N. Hern,
of Sault Ste. Marie. Her father
officiated for the ceremony,
For her wedding the bride
chose a .floor -length gown of
white peau de sole with 'tnatci -
fng train and lace overjackef,
and ' carried a bridal bouquet;

The bride, who was given in
marriage by her father, was
lovely in a floor -length gown of
silk organza over bridal taffeta
with scoop neckline and lily -
point sleeves, The slim bodice
was trimmed with organza ap-
plique,,.which also accented the
bouffant skirt of unpressed
pleats. A crown of seeded
pearls held her shoulder -length
veil, and her bridal bouquet
was of white Sweetheart roses,
stephan,ptis and ivy.
Mrs. Josef Herbrick, of To-
ronto. and Miss Annalee Thom-
as, of Toronto, were the bride's
attendants. They were dressed
in street -length dresses of aqua
organza, over taffeta, with lace
jackets, and carried a, cascade
of • single white mums. Their
crowns *of matching -mums com-
pleted their ensembles.
Hans Fogt, of Winnipeg, was
his brother's best man, and Mr.
Knud Harmark, of Brampton,
was the usher.
A • wedding ;dinner was held
in the Church "Fellowship Hall"
following the ceremony. The
bride's mother received the
guests wearing a navy sheer
knit arnel, with matching jack=
et, white accessories, and a cor-
sage of pink carnations.
For her honeymoon, the bride
wore white lace over pink two-
piece dress, with white acces-
sories, and 'corsage of pink and
white carnations.
Out-of-town guests were from
Winnipeg, London, Kitchener,
Brampton, Clinton, Listowel,
Varna, Sudbury, Toronto and
'Outland, Denmark,
On their return the couple
will reside in Brampton.

A lovely wedding of wide in-
terest took place at St. An-
drew's Presbyterian Church,
Stratford, Saturday, June 27,
at 3 p.m., when Mary Jean
Thompson, daughter of Mrs.
Nelson Rolston, RR 2, St. Marys,
and the late Inman Thompson,
became the bride of James Mal-
colrtr Dougall, of Harriston, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Don -
gall, RR 3, EXeter. Rev. James
Ferguson officiated for the cere-
mony in a setting of bronze and
white Shasta daisies. Tradition-
al wedding music was provided
by the organist, Earl Clark,
Stratford, who accompanied the
soloist, Mrs. Bernard Dilliott,
Stratford.
Given in marriage by Nelson
Rolston, the bride chose a floor
length gown of silk peau de
faille. The fitted bodice was
styled with eibow-Iength sleeves
.and a high 'scoop neckline,
frosted with a band 6f Swiss
Guipure lace, studded with seed
pearls. The controlled skirt
featured two tiny bows at the
waist. A square chapel train
with a matching band of lace
and seed pearls fell from the
shoulders. A tiara 'of pearls
and rhinestones held her .pure
silk illusion veil, and she car-
ried a prayer bfok arrangement
of gold roses, Stephanotis and
myrtle. II

Hil$ ert's Little Lassies, Staf-
fa East, held their third. meet-
ing of their garden club at the
home of their leader, Mrs. Day-
nard, on Saturday afternoon.
The meeting was opened with
the 4-H Pledge, followed by the
roll call, which w► as answered
by all members with "one veg-
etable I have served since the
last meeting, and how."
The assistant leader., Mrs. G.
Vivian, explained to the girls
the difference between fungi-
cides and insecticides, also the
method of control. She also
explained the proper method of
stalking tomatoes, and the dif-
ferent types of reference files.
A detailed discussion follow-
ed on meal planning, under the
headings of colon, variety in
texture, temperatures, flavor
and money, Viola Pullman and
Carol Vivian prepared carrots,
and Janet Miller and, Barbara
Gardiner prepared spinach for
cooking, while Mrs. Vivian ex-
plained the proper way of cook-
ing both vegetables.
The, final meeting is to be
held at Mrs. Daynard's on Wed-
nesday evening, July 15th.

the former Margaret Bonthron,
of Hensall, who passed away
suddenly' Sunday, July 5, at
Clinton, Public Hospital, in her
81st year, were held from Bon-
thron funeral home, Hensall,
on Tuesday at 2 p.m., with Rev.
R. MacLean, of Clinton, officiat-
ing, Burial was in Baird's ceme-
tery.
Pallbearers were Arthur Dut-
ton, Doug Jones, L. Ariano, J.
K. Corpish, and Ken Scott, all
of Brucefield, and Mr. Amy,
Clinton.
Survivors are two sisters,

'GEORGE ROUTLEDGE
Word was received here on
Tuesday of the sudden passing
of George Routledge, of Lan-
sing, North Dakota. Mr. Rout-
ledge was born in Tuckersmith
Township, son of the late Mr.
and Mrs. Charles Routledge.
He went as a young man to
North Dakota, where he farm-
ed until his death.
Besides his wife, he is sur-
vived by two sons, Clarence and
William, both of: Lansing, and
three daughters, Mrs. Raymond
(Florence) Undlin, Mrs. Ben
(Lucille) Jorgenson, of Lansing,
and Mrs. Warren (Rosalee) Mar-
ble, Munroe, Utah. Also surviv-
ing are two brothers, Arthur,
of Egmondville, who is at pres-
ent visiting in Lansing, and
Roy, of Glenburn, North Da-
kota.; and four sisters, Mrs.
John -(Laura) Beattie, of Win-
throp; Mrs. Charles (Agnes)
Dolmage, of Seaforth, and Mrs.
Grieve and Mrs. McGuire, of
Hannah, North Dakota.
Funeral services will be held
Friday.
