Wednesday evening. The tour •was arrang- ed by .the men of the group, who played host to the ladies and interested friends. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kling ex- plained, each step in the opera- tion of the processing of certi- fied sand, gravel and -ready -mix- ed concrete. All equipment was in full operation, which enabled the group to become more aware of the power involved in this modern business. Following a brief business meeting, the men served a' de- licious barbecue lunch. Mrs. Harry Curring expressed appre- ciation to Mr. and Mrs. Kling and to the Fireside Group for an enjoyable evening. The tree, which grows to a height of 50 feet, bears a fruit whose acrid black juice is mixed with lime by the natives and then used for printing and marking cotton cloth.
