QUEEN oQOSEFOOT•
One of the most enduring and
popular characters of fiction is
Mother Goose, the"ettstadian of
nursery rhymes. The origin of
Mother Goose is shrouded in
history, but that one suggestion
is that she derived from the
mother of Charlemagne, who
was known as Queen Goosefoot,
or Bertha with the great foot.
