ARCHIBALD McK. CAMPBELL
The news was received on
Saturday of the death of Archi-
bald McKibbon Campbell, son
of the late Hugh Campbell and
his wife, Sara McKibbin, He
had entered his 75th year, and
had been conned to hospitals
for the last 17 months. He pass •
-
ed away in St. Michael's Hospi-
tal, Toronto, and was buried
from the Ingram 'Funeral Hoare
and interred in Pine .Hills ceme-
tery.
He was • born at Kinistino,
Sask., and received his elemen-
tary education at Constance,
Hullett Township, later at Sea-
forth Collegiate and Model
School, Clinton.. He taught at
Hillsburg and Winthrop. After
receiving his S.A. at Toronto
University, ,he taught in a To-
ronto public school for several
member of First Presbyterian
Church, and held life member-
ships in the Women's Mission-
ary Society and the Ladies' Aid.
She served on the first board
ofScott Memorial Hospital, of
which she was a member for 20
years.
She is survived "by a family
of seven: Charles, ,.of London;
Mrs. E. C. (Bess) McClelland, of
Toronto; Gordon, of Detroit;
Hector, of Windsor; Mrs. Byron
(Mary) Montgomery, of Detroit,
and George of Seaforth. An-
other son, Stanley, was killed
while training with the Royal
Flying Corps during World War
I. There are nine grandchil-
dren and '17 great-grandchil-
dren.
Funeral services, conducted
by her minister, Rev. D. 0. Fry,
were held from the G. A. Whit-
ney funeral home on Wednes-
day afternoon. Temporary in-
terment followed in Ritz Mem-
orial Chapel, Mitchell. Pall-
bearers were D'Orlean Sills,
Seaforth; Gerald Stone, Parry
Sound; William Shine, Detroit;
Dr. William McClelland, Lon-
don; Angus Mowatt, Woodstock,
and John Burke, Toronto.

Holiday and Adjustment Train-
ing 'Centre for the blind near
Parry Sound, will be 'shown on
CFPL-TV, April 8, by T. W.
Trevelyan, Ontario Director of
Recreation for the CNIB. The
Centre, especially designed for
the safety and convenience of
the blind, is the only one of
its kind in' the world. The Lions
Clubs of Ontario, including Sea -
forth, are raising 83 per centof
the cost, according to E. C.

ing was permitted. Phil Casey,
