There were 14 dadies present, and 19 calls wer repoeted made on the sick and shut-ins. • •Mrs..,,Mcuregor received the offering in the absence of Miss Belle Campbell, treasurer. The Easter thankoffering will be held on March 24th at three o'clock; with Rev. J. Ure Stew- art as -speaker. An invitation from-1Vorthside United Church was accepted to attend •their Easter thankoffering, Hymn '457 was sung, follow- ed by a skit on the study book, "Partners in South Asia," with Mrs. Charles MacKay, Mrs, John Thompson, Miss J. Fraser, Thompson, and the skit, "Why are we; the Presbyterian Church in Canada, in _Italia?" We_asindividuals and as a country should realize the du- ties and privileges of world neighborliness, especially in In- dia. We sholtld be partners, not superiors and inferiors, but equals, working together. "Oh Master, Let Me Walk With Thee" was sting, and the meeting closed by all repeat- ing the Lord's Prayer in uni- son. BARBARA KIRKMAN MEETS Mrs. Dale Nixon presided ov- er the regular meeting of the Barbara Kirkman Auxiliary of First Church Tuesday evening and opened the program with a po.etn, "Who Are 'You?" anct also led' in "prayer. Minutes were read by Mrs. H. Whyte, whoso al read a letter concern ing the 100th "and 50th anni- 4ersaries of the WMS •being held in Montreal in May. An in-' vit'ation to attend the meeting of the UCW of Northside Unit- ed Church was accepted. It was decided to hold -the supper in June and to make' a babys lay- ette. Mrs. Clare Reith took charge of the meeting when • a panel discussion was held on "The Religions of India," conducted by Mrs. H. E. Smith,,Mrs. Keith Sharp, Mrs. C.
