Elliott, June R. - Beloved wife of the late
Earl Nelson Elliott, passed away peacefully
at home in the company of her family, on
Wednesday, October 5, 2016 in her 94th
year. She was born in Detroit Michigan on
July 4, 1923 to the late Florence (Lawson)
and William Stephen. Greatly missed by her
children; Nancy Elliott -Greenwood and Paul
Greenwood of Goderich, Stephen and
Janice Elliott of Blind River, Joyce and John
Farrell of RR#2 Wingham and Ian and Shari
Elliott of Horseshoe Valley and her 11
grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
She is also survived by several nieces and
nephews. Predeceased by brothers William
and Roy Stephen. Visitation was held at
MacKENZIE & McCREATH FUNERAL
HOME, Ripley on Thursday, October 6,
2016 from 7-9 PM. A Funeral Service was
conducted from the chapel on Friday,
October 7, 2016 at 1:30 PM with Betty
Elliott officiating. Interment Durham Rd.
Baptist Cemetery, Greenock Township.
Donations to the Purple Grove Community
Centre, Ripley Knox Presbyterian Church or
Brussels Mennonite Fellowship were
greatly appreciated as expressions of

FORAN, Kathleen "Isey" - Ultra Sound
Technologist, Former Program Director
CNIH. On Tuesday, September 27th, 2016,
surrounded by the love of her family,
Kathleen "Isey" Foran quietly slipped away
at the age of 52. She leaves her husband
and soul mate Mike Purcell, her much
adored children Ian, Grant, and Shelagh
Purcell. Daughter of the late John and
Sophia Foran. Dear sister of Eileen George
(the late Harry), Anne Symonds (Ted), Con
Foran (Linda), Frank Foran (Janice), Cathy
Drennan (Gordie), Terry Foran, the late
Janice Bowland (Gerry), Donna Auger,
Rosemary Foran (Jack Martin), Mary Ellen
Foran (Gerald Jefferson), Margaret Foran
(Rick Govers), Tom Foran (Debbie), and
Betty Jane Higgins (Greg), loving aunt to
numerous nieces and nephews. Cherished
daughter-in-law of June Longford. Lovingly
remembered by her Aunt Sister Eileen
Foran, brother-in-law Noel Purcell (Michelle
Whelan), and will also be greatly missed by
her friends and colleagues at CNIH and
Merivale Medical Imaging. A Celebration of
Kathleen's life was held at Garden Chapel
of TUBMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3440
Richmond Road, Nepean ON on Saturday,
October 1, 2016 at 2:00 pm, followed by a
reception. Visitation was held at the
McBURNEY FUNERAL HOME, Wingham,
Monday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00
pm. Mass of Christian burial was held on
Tuesday, at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic
Church, Wingham, at 10:30 am, followed by
burial at St. Augustine's Parish Cemetery.
Father K.P. Morrison officiating. Reception
followed. In lieu of flowers, donations to
Leukemia Research would be appreciated.

HARRISON, Howard - Of Ripley,
beloved husband of Gwen Harrison, passed
away at the Kincardine Hospital on
Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at age 87. He
was born on September 13, 1929 to the late
Esther (MacNair) and Edwin Harrison.
Greatly missed by daughter Sally Harrison
of Windsor and Kevin "Howie" Harrison of
Ripley. Also survived by brother Rae &
Ruth Harrison of Mississauga, sister-in-law
Sandra & Garry Campbell of Chatham and
several nieces and nephews. Predeceased
by siblings Lois Small, Jack Harrison,
Dorothy Green and Marilyn Lowry. A
Private Family Funeral Service was held at
the Ripley Cemetery. Donations to the
Ripley Legion or the charity of your own
choice were greatly appreciated as
expressions of sympathy. Arrangements

McMAHON, Wilda - Peacefully at
Country Terrace Nursing Home on
Saturday October 1, 2016, Wilda (nee
Irwin) McMahon of Komoka and formally of
Lucknow, Ontario, passed away at the age
of 86 years old. Beloved wife of the late
Glenn Irwin, dear mother of daughter
Glenda Dhinsa and dear sister of Shirley
De Neire , Al and Ellwood Irwin. Loved by 4
grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Wilda lived in St. Thomas after the passing
of her husband Glenn. She had a
successful career as the accounting officer
at a local bank. Wilda was noted to be a
vibrant personality at the nursing home
where she resided until her passing. She
will be missed by many and especially; her
daughter. Wilda's ashes were buried with
Glenn at Greenhills cemetery in Lucknow.
