BARGER, Marie - formerly of Ashfield
Township, passed away at her residence
on Saturday March 5, 2016 in her 85 year.
She was born on October 20, 1931 in
Kinloss Township to the late Irene (Moore)
and Harold Sparling. Beloved wife of the
late Alan Barger. Dear Mother of Tom
(Nancy) Barger of Kincardine, John
(Donna) Barger of RR#3 Lucknow, Pat
(Walter) Dekeseredy of West Virgina and
Michael Barger (Trisha Finch) of Howick
Township. Also greatly missed by 7
grandchildren; Brendan, Eila, Nicholas,
Jason, Andrea, Joshua and Jacob.
Predeceased by brother Douglas Sparling
and infant daughter Alana. Following
Marie's wishes, cremation has taken place
and there will be no funeral home visitation
or service. A private family gathering will
take place at a later date. Donations to the
charity of your own choice are greatly
appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

PAQUETTE, "Terry" Terence
William - Of Ripley, passed away after a
short illness, surrounded by family at Grey -
Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on
March 6, 2016 at the age of 67. He was the
beloved husband of the late June (nee
McIntyre) who predeceased him in 2012.
Terry was born in Goderich, Ontario to the
late Barbara Roots and Donald Paquette on
March 26, 1948. Dear father of Kerri &
Keith Pollock, Mickie & Dave Elliott and
Suzanne & Steve Nicholson all of Ripley.
Cherished grandpa of Matt, Gavin, Kennydi
and Parker. Survived by his siblings: Twin
Donald & Janet of Kincardine, Jim of Lucan,
Philip & Cathy of Goderich, and Janice &
Robin Matchett of Kincardine, his in-laws:
Gord & Sandy McIntyre, Jean & Dennis
McLeod, Shirley Marcotte and many nieces
and nephews. Terry will be remembered as
a kind and helpful neighbour, friend and
community member. He was a dedicated
Legion Member and volunteered for 15
years as a firefighter for Ripley -Huron.
Visitation was held at MACKENZIE &
MCCREATH FUNERAL HOME, Ripley on
Thursday, March 10, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9
PM. A Royal Canadian Legion Branch 440
Service was held at 6:30 PM, with a
firefighter walk through following. The
Funeral service was conducted on Friday,
March 11, 2016 at 2:00 PM at St. Andrew's
United Church, Ripley. Rev. Judy Zarubick
officiated and Jennifer McCallum was the
organist. A special solo performed by niece
Andrea Matchett . Eulogy given by brother
Phil and tribute to grandpa given by
grandchildren Kennydi and Matt.. Donation
to Ripley Legion branch 440, or Ripley
Minor Hockey were appreciated as
expressions of sympathy. Memorial
