Drop in and learn more about Adaptive Phased Management
(APM), and ongoing work in the area. APM is Canada's plan for
the safe, long-term management of used nuclear fuel.
The Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO) is
working collaboratively with Huron -Kinloss to consider the
project and advance preliminary assessment studies. The
Township of Huron -Kinloss is one of nine communities involved
in this learning process.

Pull expected to draw over
5,000 to village June 17-18
The 17th Dungannon
Super Pull will once again
see thousands to the
region for the annual June
17, 18, 2016. The biggest
horse power sport in
North America and the
largest of its kind in Huron
County, Dungannon
Super Pull has been Voted
#1 Pull of the Year from
2010-2015
Friday night features an
Outdoor Dance Party fea-
turing country music band
'8 Second Ride' from 9 p.m.
to 1 a.m., while Saturday's
Truck and Tractor Pull runs
from 4 p.m. into the
evening.
Features include 'High
Powered Alcohol Powered
Trucks, Single -Engine Modi-
fied Tractors, Modified
Multi -Engine Tractors and
Diesel Smoking Farm Modi-
fied Tractors and Pro -Stock
Tractors.
The Super Pull takes place
at the Dungannon Fair-
grounds, in the rural village
and will attract a crowd of
over 5,000 people, organiz-
ers said on the webiste. The
event is approximately
60-70 miles north of Port
Huron Michigan, near the
Lake Huron Shoreline,
northeast of Goderich,
Ontario.
