Until the day she can fulfill that
dream, she uses each individual
piece as a "mini" installation. She

well she has even meticulously
created the "made to measure"
boxes for each of these pieces.
These small embodiments of her
imagination and attention to
detail will also be on display in
this current show.
Regular visitors to the Gallery
may recall that Kelly was one of
our summer student artists before
the tornado, and so it is a real treat
to see her growth as an artist, and
to see her return to Huron County
following graduation from OCAD
University. We are very fortunate
to have this talented young artist
begin her art career right here at
home. Kelly credits her very sup-
portive parents for the opportu-
nity to let her imagination reach
fulfillment; as she talks about her
art, one can see that the ideas are
just bouncing in her creative
brain. The future in art looks very
promising for this young artist.
Please join us in welcoming
Kelly Stevenson to the Goderich
CoOp Gallery, 54 Courthouse
Square, lower level, on Sat. May 7,
from 2-4 p.m. for an opening
reception. Kelly's work will be on
display until the end of May, so if
you can't join us for the opening,
be sure to drop in to the Gallery
anytime in May, our summer
hours are now in effect, from 10
a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through
Saturday, and you will always find
a member artist on duty to wel-
come you.
