father Ken was raised just
outside of Kinloss. James'
parents Marion and Ken live
in Chatham. All the rest of
the McEwan clan are
pleased too.

SPCA Huron County "iAdopt for Spring" campaign upcoming
The Ontario SPCA Huron
County Animal Centreis
inviting the public to drop in
to 'Meet Your Match' during
its "iAdopt for Spring"
campaign.
iAdopt for Spring will run
for the month of April at
Ontario SPCA animal centres
across the province with the
goal of getting as many ani-
mals as possible placed into
loving forever homes during
the spring season.
To help reach this goal, all
adult cats will be available for
adoption for $99. All cats are
spayed or neutered, micro -
chipped, come with six weeks
of free pet insurance and are
up to date with their vaccines.
The Huron County Animal
Centre's Meet Your Match
program, adopted from the
ASPCA, is the only method in
existence today that evaluates
an animal's behaviour and
interests and matches them to
an adopter's preferences so
that they take home a pet they
can click with, the agency said
in a media release.
The animal centre encour-
ages you to take the Meet Your
Match' adopter survey before
your visit. The survey will give
you a color based on your
preferences and lifestyle. On
your visit to the animal centre,
you're given a purple, orange
or green guest pass to match
with the pets who might suit
you best. You don't always
have to go with your own
color, but at least you'll know
who you're mixing with!
"We're very excited that
the warmer weather is finally
on its way! It's a great time to
Meet Your Match and bring a
new companion and forever
friend into your home," says
