classes in Hindi began almost
immediately, with afternoons
spent in orientation bus`frips
in and around New Delhi. Of
particular interest were visits
to Agra and the Taj 1Viahal.
Miss Friend gave vivid des-
criptions of her first impres-
sions of the sights, the sounds
and the livens conditions in the
area that will be her home for
the next two years, She hopes
to assume her duties with a
hospital at Chandigarh in the
foothills of the Himalayas in
early Deecember.
Mrs. Smith closed the meet-
ing with prayer and lunch was
served by the hostess..

The funeral of the late Mich-
ael Neale took place from the
R. S. Box funeral home, Sea -
forth on Wednesday, Nov. 22,
to St. Patrick's Roman Catholic
Church, Dublin where Requiem
Mass was chanted by Rev. R.
Durand at 10 o'cIoele. Mrs.
John Nagle presided at the or-
gan and was accompanied by St.
Patrick's men's choir.
Pallbearers were Edward
Stapleton,* James P. Krauskopf,
Peter Maloney, William Smith,
Frank Cronin and Louis Don-
nelly.
Temporary entombment took
place in the Elizahetp Ritz
Mausoleum, Mitchell, with bur-
ial later in St. Patrick's ceme-
tery, Dublin.

School,-Seaforth, on
Friday, December, 1st, commen-
cing at 8:00 p.m.
All Huron County 4-H Agri-
cultural Club members who

this occasion. Of the 425 4-11
projects started in 26 4H Ag-
ricultural Clubs 'last spring,
94 per cent were brought to a
successful conclusion,.
