Remembrance Day has come
and -gone for anather year and
solemn services were held in
mitny countries throughout the

In our own local area, des-
pite miserable, wet weather,
there was a fine turnout of vet-

all who participated 'from the
various organizations in our
community.
After the service, the after-
noon was spent in .a social time
with most of the stories start-
ing with "Do your remember
when". A pot -luck supper fol-
lowed.
But during all the reminicing
there remained. in the ,,back-

time buddies that we left over
there, and to those who canie

angled, to spend for some, years in
