Scott -Alexander Powell, of Galt, formerly -=of Seaforth. The bride is the' daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ross -Howard Welsh, Hamilton, and the groom is the son of Mr. • and Mrs. John Powell of Seaforth. The bride wore a dress, of white norganza with scoop neck- line, empire bodice, with A-line skirt and a shoulder cape of alencon lace failing into a chap - pet train and carried a cascade bouquet of glamelias. • The bride was attended by -her sister, Miss Marilyn Welsh, Hamilton, as maid of honor and. the bridesmaids were Miss Fern Featherston, Millgrove and Mrs, Barry Hill of Hamilton,, They wore dresses of 'yellow organza over taffeta with etupire'Waists, A-line skirts, with trains of chantilly lace and ,organza. Their headpieces were of the sante material 'as their dresses, in a rose design,. with lace background. They carried nose- gays of yellow shasta mums. The groom's brother, Mr. Ray Powell, London, formerly of Seaforth,' was best man- and the ushers were Mr: Winston. Pow- ell, Seaforth, brother .of ,the groom ,.'and,,, Mr. Ronald . Powell, Meaford, cousin of the groom. The reception was held at the Estaminet hi Burlington over- loeking Lake Ontario. PARSONS Word has been received by Mrs. Edith Richards of the death of her brother Chester Lbuis (Chuck) Parsons. Mr. Par- sons who had been ailing for sometime, passed away in the University Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta, in his 72nd year.
