in the Legion flail, Hensall. The
meeting opened by the presi-
dent,
president, Misr Grant McLean, with
ten ways to kill an organiza-
tion. Roll call was payniehf' of
fees. Minutes %ere read by Mrs.
James Drummond. Since the dis-
trict annual falls on their reg-
ular meeting day it was decid
ed to hold their May meeting
on the eighteenth in the Legion
Hall.

Mr, Doug Dick, RR 1, Hen -
sell, is a patient in St. Joseph's
Hospital, London, suffering,
compound fracture of the right
leg, injuries he sustained in an
accident.

nado Fund.

Chandeliers and Ken Mittle-
holtz and the Twylites are don-
ating their services for a dance
in the Hensall Arena, Friday,
the Hensel] Park board donat-
ing. the Arena, the local papers
donating advertising and the
Kinsmen clubmakingall ar-'
rangernents and• supplying the
labor with every dollar collect-
ed going towards the Huron -
Perth, Tornado fund. After the
meeting a discussion • followed
on civic affairs with the head
table guests answering ques-
tions from the floor.

Hensall Council is to consid-
er obtaining a parttime recrea-
tional director.
The request was made by,
Mrs. Oliver Jaques and Paul
Neilands at the regular meet-
ing •of council. Council said it
would consider the request for
a, grant for payment of • such an
employee until the next meet-
ing.
•Cerk Earl Campbell reported
that John Jarrett was doing -an
excellent job of carrying•dn the
duties of E. R. Davis who , is
home from hospital but still
having trouble with • his left
leg. •
The clerk was instrugted to
send accounts to several boards
for their share of the audit, al-

the Clinton, Seaforth and Exe-

asphalt on York Cresent Street;
