MRS. RHETA CHARLES
Mrs. Rheta Charles a highly
esteemed resident of the vil-
lage, passed away very sudden-
ly at her home Saturday,- Oct.
1st. The former Rheta Francis
Thompson, she came to Hen-
sall from London some years
ago, she was in her 72nd year.
Mrs. Charles was a member of
Hensall United Church, mem-
ber of Unit 4, UCW, and a
member of Hensall Women's
Institute.
Surviving her loss are two
daughters, Mrs. Scott (Muriel)
Robinson, London; Mrs. Robert
(Eleanor) Harradine, SoduS,
N.Y.; one brother, Lyle Thomp-
son, Red Deer, Alta.; and two
grandchildren.
Public funeral services were
held frontt Bonthron Funergl
Home,' Monday, ' conducted . by
Rev. H. F. Currie. Burial was
in Hensall Union cemetery.
