Training with the white cane
provides mobility without ' de-

the simple lacing of a wallet
can be the cornerstone for a
career as an industrial machine
operator or dictaphone typist.
Since birth, Myra has had the
eye condition, Glaucoma, which
left her with only a small
amount of vision. She was edu-
cated at the Ontario School for
the blind in Brantford and
graduated in 1960. Horne Econ-

to the subjects she now teaches.

TO ANGELA Q'CONNOR
Oh, we will love and wait awhile,
`And sometimes too, you'll bring
a smile,
Remembering other days with
• you,
An things you used to say or do.
Up here the stars are beautiful,
So many and so bright,
There is one little star
there,
I look for, every night.
For on that star I had a home,
With Daddy by my side,
And some sweet day 1 hope
some way, 11
Down there to take a ride.
Perhaps a flying saucer, or
A moonbeam too, would do,
Sometimes I know your lonely,
An I do miss you too.
Whenever I see you weeping,
In longing for me mom'ee,
When all up here are sleeping,
I'll steal away, you'll' see.
•
So hold your arms out, then
I'll , slide on down a moon-
- 'beam,
And fall• right into 'thee.' J. M. D., Dublin.
