relatives of the death of Lloyd
Crawford of Toronto which
occurred suddenly while holi-
daying in Florida, Mr, Craw-
ford was a son of Mrs. W.

late Wellington Crawford.
The family •are former resi-
dents of the 12th concession
of Hibbert Township.

ALBERT REUBEN STEVENS
Albert Reuben Stevens, .80,•
of Egmondyille, died Monday lin
Goderich.
Born and educated in pais,
Ont., he worked in the glass in-
dustry for Tait Plate Glass and
later for Pilkingtoh Glass Ltd.
He married his wife, the form-
er Anne Jackson, in Ripley. She
predeceased him in 1942. He
was a member of Fgniondviile
United Church.
Surviving are two daughters,
Mrs. Norman (Betty) MacLean,
Egmondville; Mrs. Beverly (Isa-
ble) Epps, Toronto; a son, Jack
Close, Waterloo; a brother, Ol-
iver Stevens, Lachine, Que.;
two sisters, Mrs. Roy (Lottie)
Southwick, Rutland, Vt.; Mrs.
Fraser (Cecilia) Hill.born, Paris;
14 grandchildren and six great
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held
Thursday at 1 p.m. from the R,
S. Box funeral home with Rev.
Alan Scott officiating. Burial
will be in Mount Hope ceme-
tery, Waterloo.
The pallbearers will be Aub-
rey Eickmeyer, John Modeland;
Roy McGeoch, Cleave Coombs,
James Racho, and Everett
Smith.
PEGGY McFARLANE
Peggy McFarlane, the young
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rob-
ert McFarlane . of Carleton
Place, Ont., died on Tuesday,
Aug. 16.
She had been ill only for a
day or two prior to her death.
She is survived by her par-
ents, two sisters and two bro-
thers. One sister _predeceased
her.
The McFarlane family were
former residents of McKillop
township. '

Melville Cecil Milliken, 67,
Millbank, a ' former Seaforth
businessman, died Tuesday at
Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto.
He ,was the secretary -treasur-
er of the Millbank Cheese and
Butter Co.
He; is survived by his wife,

Funeral services will be held
Friday at Burns' Prebyterian
Church, Milverton. Burial will
be in Milverton cemetery.
CONSTANCE ANN RUDOLPH
The great granddaughter of
Col. Anthony Van Egnlond, the
first farmer of Huron county,
died in Waterloo, Monday.
Miss Constance Ann Rudolph,
92, who was framed after her
grandfather, Constance Van Eg-
mond, the founder of Egmond-
ville unveiled a plaque honor-
ing her famous great grand-
father when she was in Egmond-
ville in 1963.
Funeral services were held
Wednesday in Waterloo. Burial
was in Egmondville cemetery.

by Joanne Arts; piano duet by

song conducted by Mrs. Coombs.
The bride-to-be, her mother
and Mrs. Tolion were each giv-

iven a corsage. An address of
good wishes was read by Mrs.
Ken Maloney. Gifts were pre-
sented by Ricki and Maria Wil-
lems, Angela Devereaux and
Christine Pryce. -Miss Nixon
thanked everyone. Hostess for

Hold Surprise
Party
A surprise party was held
Saturday evening for Mr. and
Mrs. Stanley Hillen when rela-
tives gathered at their •home in
hbnor of their 25th wedding an-
niversary.
During the evening progress
sive euchre was played after
which Ken Sowan delivered a
short address and gifts were pre-
sented. Lunch followed and the
couple passed wedding cake.
Relatives were present from
North Bay, Midland, Toronto,
Seaforth; and McKillop.

BIBLE CHURCH
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, chose a floor-
length empire' gown of white
peau .de, soie on princess lines,
with the waistline outlined with
lace inset. The bodice featured
a scoop neckline and long lily -
point sleeves and a detachable
chapel train of nylon sheer
lace lined with peau de sole.
Pearls and crystals formed her
Queen's crown which held her.
three -tiered facer veil of silk
illusion. She carried a white
Bible, crested with red roses,
bridal tulle and trailing rose-
buds. -
Gail Barry, Seaforth, was
maid of honor and the brides-
maids were Brenda and Arva
Ball, sisters of the bride. They
were gowned alike in moss
green floor -length gowns of
peau de soie styled similar to
the -bride's, accented with a
large bow at the back. Their
matching shoulder -length veils
were held in place by a pleated
moss green wedding ringband.
They carried white baskets of
white shasta daisies with yel-
low eyes.
Donald Hoffman and Leroy
Hoffman, both of Zurich, were
groomsmen for their brother
and the bride's twin brother,
Daryl and Daryk Ball ushered
the guests.
At a reception in the Auburn
Community Memorial Hall, the
bride's mother received, wear-
ing a two-piece beige and brown
brocaded dress with snatching
accessories, a swiss mohair hat
and a corsage of yellow roses.
The groom's ' mother wore a
two-piece dress of turquoise lin-
en with white accessories and
a corsage of yellow roses.
For a wedding trip to North-
ern Ontario, the bride doni'ted
