on Friday of the late Claire
Rigby, of Hamilton, brother of
Mr, Don Rigby.
Mrs. John Henderson return-
ed home Saturday from South
Huron Hospital, where she has
been a patient for eight weeks.
Hensall firemen were called
Saturday afternoon to extin-
guish a fire in the undergrowth
of a bush owned by Jim Mc-
Ewen, behind the dam, lot 10,
con. 1, in Hay Township. It
took the firemen an hour to
put the are out, with water
pumped from the creek. The
bush covers'10 acres, with half
the undergrowth burned.
The Hot Turkey and Ham
Smorgasbord held at St.
Paul's Auglican Church, Sat-
urday afternoon was success-
ful, when oyer $20,0.00 were
the door receipts.
