Community Hospital Has New TV ,
Members of the staff of the former Scott Memorial HOspital, now on Seaforth Com-
munity Hospital staff, have donated a TV set f or use in the patients IMinge. Funds which re-
mained from a ‘series of dances sponsored b y the staff a number of years ago and which
have since been lying idle were used for the purchase. Shown examining the set, installed

Seaforth Bantams came
through with their second win
in as many nights, trouncing
the Clinton Force Base 12-1,
Friday night, while on Satur-
day night at the local arena,
they tried up Monkton to the
tune of 64. Leading the scor-
ing for Seaforth was Randy
' Wood with three goals, Steph-
en Southgate with two and Paul
McNab with one. Monkton scor-
ing was done by Bruce. Boyd,
Don Ducharme, Doug Long and
Bill Campbell.
Northside UCW
Has Meeting_
Unit one of Northside UCW
met at the home of Mrs. Wil-
mer Cuthill. Mrs. Don Wood
told of Christmas symbols and
Ruth Cluff read the scripture.
Miss Fennell read the story of
the Christmas guest. Mrs. Wood'
told the story of "The poor
Count's Christmas".
The president opened. the
business part with a poem, "Be-
cause You Passed This vky".
The nominating committee re-
port was read by Miss Fennell.

Ladies
Meet
The Seaforth Legion Ladies'
Auxiliary held their December
meeting in the Legion Hall on
Wednesday with the president,
Rachael Walters presiding. Fif-
teen members answered the
roll call.
The Legion -members will en-
tertain the ladies of fthe Auxil-
iary to a dinner on Dec. 14th.
The children's Christmas party
will be held in the Legion Hall
on the afternoon of Dec. 22nd.
It was decided to- send Christ-
mas gifts to the adopted veter-
an at Westminster Hospital and

patient there.
The meeting closed with an
exchange of gifts and a pot -luck

Announce Nuclear Power Station
It is not khow yet whether the 3,000100 -kilowatt nuclear power station which Ontario
Hydro is building on a 2,300'.=aere site adjacent to Douglas Point, will alteartaplannitstuflotri the
transformer station which the HEPC is building east of Seaforth. The station's four 7$0,0011
kilowatt units will be powered by nuclear 'reactors using beery Water
