Frank McFadden, Bayfield,
board chairman, said the board
felt it would be more practical
if the properties were returned
to their own municipalities._
"The board should be in the
library business, not dealing in
property and maintenance," he
said. "In the past, the library
service has suffered because
time and money had to be spent
on maintenance problems."

ails entwined with net and
bronze taffeta ribbon.

The best man was Mr. Ivan
Cook of Blyth and the ushers
were Messes, Neil McNiehol of
R. R. 4 Walton and Lorne McD-
onald of Schomberg, Ontario.
The bride's gift to her attend-
ants was a black diamond neck-
lace and the grooms was a gold
tie pin.
The wedding supper was held
in the church parlor where the
bride's mother received the
guests wearing a street -length
dress of bonded eold metallic
brocade with green and breivre
accesories and a corsage of or-
ange delight roses.
She was assissted by the bride
groom's mother in a street len-
gth dress of blue metallic silk
brocade with black acesseries.
Her corsage was bright pink car-
nations.
A reception was held in Blyth
Memorial Hall. Jim Scott's or-
chestra supplied the music.
Following the reception the
happy couple left for a honey
moon at Midland, Huntsville and
Algonquin Park areas. The bride
travelled in a shrimp corded cr-
epe suit with black accessories.
They will reside -en (elate St
