Donna Nolan gave a piano sel-
ection. The guest of honor than-
ked the ladies for the many
gifts. An address was read by
Helen • McGrath, and a lunch
served by the sponsors.
Another shower was held at
the bride's home sponsored by
Mrs. Mary Margaret Van Bakel,
Miss Patricia McLaughlin and
Miss Agnes Ryan. The future
bride thanked her friends and
relatives for the many gifts and
lunch was served.

WEDDING
Feddema ---toyne
Standards of yellow and white
chrysanthemums decorated the
altar of SL Colurnben Roman
Catholic Church op Saturday,
July 13 for the marriage of Miss
Mary Patricia Coyne and Peter
Feddema.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Michael Coyne,
Staffa and -the groom is the son
of Mrs. Theodora Kerwood, and
the late Mr. Feddema. Rev: Fa-
ther Wylie, London, performed
the double ring ceremony and
sang the nuptial mass.
Mrs. Vincent Lane was organ-
ist and accompanied the- soloist,
MiSs Sharon Staples.
Given in marriage by her fa-
ther, the bride wore a floor
length gown of chantilly lace
and lagoda made on empire
lines. The bodice of lace featur-
ed lily point sleeves and a scal-
loped neckline. The skirt was
enhanced by an aisle -wide de-
tachable cape train. The four
tiered wedding veil of French
illusion was held in place by a
wedding ring headpiece. ' •
The maid ef honor was Miss
Joanne Coyne, sister of the
bride, and the bridesmaids were
Miss Jean Coyne, sister of the
bride, and Mrs. Jean Roszell,-
Corunna, sister of the groom.
Each wore a floor length gown
of aqua peau de soie, on empire
lines vyith bell shaped sleeves
and scalloped neck line. The
flower girI was Miss Jacqueline
Roszell, niece of the groom, and
the ringbearer was Kevin Coyne
brother of the bride. Assisting
the groom Was his brother, Mr.
John Feddema, Kerwood, and
the ,ushers were Mr., Charles
Feddema, Oshawa and Mr: Ken
Coyne, Staffa.
A reception was held in the
Legion rfall, Seaforth, • with
guests from Sarnia, Listowel,
Corunna, Strathroy, London,
Denfield, Oshawa, Watford, By-
ron,- Stratford, Port Dover, Sea:

Bell".
Neighbors Help- with Haying
One wagon is filled and another begins as neighboring farmers got together en masse
to bring in the hay of Doug Wallace who lies in London hospital recovering from injuries ,
received in a motor accident. Over 20 farmers brought their equipment and in one after-
noon last week moved over 1,400 bales of hay from the fields to the barn in continuous

Area Groups Hold Annual Reunions
Beuerman Group
The annual reunion of the
family of the late Hwy Beuer-
man was held at the Brodhagen
Community Hall ' Sunday
with 65 persons in attendance.
Sgr. Mervin Kahle, OtliaAva,
attended the reunion. He will
leave for England to reside
there. •
Other relatives were present
from Waterloo, Kitchener, To-
ronto, London, Londes leo r o,
Seaforth, Mitchell and Strate
ford.
A •ball' game wa enjoyed by
the men and games and con-
tests were conducted by Mary
Beuerman, London, and Ronald
Beuerman, Seaforth.
A minute silence was held for
Beuerman who passed away
last year. Mrs. Rhinold Kahle
played "Abide In Me".
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Smyth were
host and hostess., The executive,
remains the same for another
year. Host and hostess next
year are Me. and Mire. Wayne
Beuerman, London.
Smillie Clan
The 31st annual reunion of
the Bea &Mille and Thomas
Elder clans was held at the
Lions Park in Seafoath, Satur-
day.
Members from 'a distance
came from Montreal,- Chicago,
TUCSOM, Niagara Palls, Toronto,
Hamilton, St. Cathaeinee,
ville, Brampton, Petralia. The,
Staffa. The bride's mother re-
ceived the guests wearing an
aqua crepe dress with an over-
lay of lace and white accessor-
ies. The groom's mother chose
a blue crepe dress with beige
accessories,
For going away the bride,
wore a blue and white coat and
dress with blue and white ac-
cessories and a corsage of white
baby chrysanthemums.
Following a wedding trip to
the New England States and
Eastern Canada, the couple will
reside in London.
