Reeve Ken Stewart and coon- cillontAllan Campbell of McKil- lop agreed the proposed new fire area was favourable to them. "To give you this exam- ple of what we run into in Mc- Killop, I talked to one of my neighbors and this .fellow hap- pens to be a pretty broad-mind- ed fellow. 'There should be something done,' said. 'I don't mind paying • or anything, T don't d e c ts for pro- viding services. I" still have to pay costs now' and I guess this pretty well describes the situa- tion in McKillop." said Reeve Stewart. Councillor MacLennan pro- posed representation similar to Mitchell which has three rep- resentatives from surrounding townships. , "Seaforth must not put them- selves into a position where they will lose control," he said.
