"People aren't curious any
more. We tend to kill it in the
early years," she said, and has
tried to bring this curiosity
back to her pupils of grades 4,
5 and 6.
The two attractive girls along
with Anne's two Siamese cats
are enjoying their project and
are beginning to find that there
is more than they figured to
operating a business or "com-
pany" as they jokingly call it,
Paper work and selling their
idea to the people is becoming
more fun to them • after the
birth pains.
"It's a success as far as I'm
: concerned and even without
support it can always become
a private place where I can
come and work," said Anne in
echoing the sentiments of her
partner. . ' _
'When we get, this big deal
going we're going to be million-
aires," she laughed.

sessment in the other areas to
be able to join the ,proposed
new fire area.
• , "We're going to be stuck with
a water pump to help Hibbert
out," he exclaimed.
Reeve Ken Stewart and coon-
cillontAllan Campbell of McKil-
lop agreed the proposed new
fire area was favourable to
them. "To give you this exam-
ple of what we run into in Mc-
Killop, I talked to one of my
neighbors and this .fellow hap-
pens to be a pretty broad-mind-
ed fellow. 'There should be
something done,' said. 'I don't
mind paying • or anything, T
don't d e c ts for pro-
viding services. I" still have to
pay costs now' and I guess this
pretty well describes the situa-
tion in McKillop." said Reeve
Stewart.
Reeve Stewart felt Seaforth
should not gain a controlling
interest ; but „representation
should' be setup according to
assessment and the assessed
area. Councillor MacLennan pro-
posed representation similar to
Mitchell which has three rep-
resentatives from surrounding
townships. ,
"Seaforth must not put them-
selves into a position where they
will lose control," he said.
Hibbert representative Clif-
ford Miller, was for the best pos-
sible protection for his town-
ship and although they are part
of the Mitchell agreement, were
willing to go along with a Sim-
ilar arrangement in Seaforth.
Reeve Hugh Flynn of Hullett
was for a new agreement. Hul-
- lett also is supporting costs of
a new fire engine in Blyth ,and
