Mrs. Frank Hunt chaired the
program prepared by Citizen-
ship' Education convenors Mrs.
Hunt and Mrs. I. Hudson. Mrs.
Hunt read a poem "Spring Clea-
ning" and also gave a "Recipe
for Everyone." The motto, "A'
man is what he makes of him-
self." was taken by Mrs. Hud-
son. Several meinbers presented
a skit on "Municipal! Affairs",
a hamorous discussion on. a mun
icipal election which takes place
in a local barbershop. Taking

Have Meeting
Seaforth Chapter 'Order of
the Eastern Star entertained
the secretaries and treasurers
of the district on Thursday eve-
ning, May 16, 1968. Mrs, Thel-
ma Coombs secretary and Mrs.
Jessie McGregor welcomed the
guests and presented them each
with a colored butterfly to Wear
on their corsage. It was a,,very
-pretty starpoint ceremony, with
the starpoints putting a butter-
fly on a beautiful basket of
flowers. The guests of honor
each -received a gift. A salad
meal was served and a birthday
cake ' was offered, celebrating
the birthday of Mrs. Esther
Smale, Dr. Maurice Clugston
and Mr. Elmer Townsend.
