MERRY MAIDENS MEET
The 4-11 club girls of the pro-
ject "The Club Girl Entertains"
met at the home of Elaine Car-
ter, Saturday afternoon.
Minutes were read by Karen
Fredin, and the roll call, "Why
I like to entertain" was answer-
ed. The topics for discussion
included party ideas and invita-
tions. 1V1rs. Whyte gave a .dem-
onstration on various table cen-
tres for special occasions. For
group work each girl practised
the proper way -to introduce
one person to anoher. .
At the next meeting, the roll
call was 'One duty of a hostess
toward her guest". The theme
was party refresiunents and
menus.For group work each
member decorated three small
tea cakes and set up a buffet
table suitable for a party.
