DEAR DORIS — My husband
took up Photography for a hob-
hy . Now that he is better at it
he's developing pictures of nude
wemen he gets from his friends;
I don't like this at all.
One day 'be came home with
pictures already developed of a
single girl, whom he metonly
once, think with almoStnoth--
ing on. She gave them to him.
What kind of a single girl
would give a married man she

Self that way? t
A I crazy at getting mad at
him or not?

DEAR "BOTHERED — Either
such a girl has posed for near -
nude pictures often and thinks
it is smart, or she has an un-
reasonable pride in a good fig-
ure and wants to show it off.
Or both. She has lost her sense
of proportion.
Your indignation is human
— but laughter is better. I can
not see that your husband's
open interest in nudes poses'
any threat. Greet the fad with
amused tolerance and •I'm bet-
ting he'll get over it sooner
than you think.
DEAR DORIS — Recently I
designed a coffee table and 'am,
of course, quite proud of it.
It holds the usual parapherna-
lia like lighter, ash trays and
a plant. .
Now, quite a few people We
know like to use this, .or -think
it is there, for feet! They use it
as a footstool even if I put
some food on it. I just can't
quite bring myself to asking
people not to use it for feet. I
am afraid they wouldn't come
back. •
I feel It is the height of ig-
norance, but I don't want to
lose friends over a table.

You might: .„

ning little blacks to go under
each leg.
(2) Move it away from the
chairs until time to serve cof-
fee.
(3) Cover „ it with a small
tablecloth or put an ornate doi-
ly under the plant.
(4) -Provide a small footstool,
and when guest threatens to

ten to place stool in proximity
of offending feet.
