pital in 1968 — he made his ap-
pearance early on Wednesday
morning, January 3.
Miss Dorothy Parke, in re-
porting on the successful turk-
ey draw ticket sales, announc-
ed the winners of the turkeys
were Mrs. William Storey of
Seaforth and John Andrew of
Petrolia. The draw was made at
the Legion bingo on December
8, through the generosity of
:he members of the Seaforth
Legion.
A letter of thanks was read
from Miss 'Valerie Drive for
the gift ,sent her at Christmas
by the Auxiliary.
Reports of increased sales in
the Gift Shop and from the
Tuck Cart were given by Mrs.

She is survived! by one daugh-
ter, Miss Isobelle Campbell,

Funeral services will be con-
ducted by her minister Rev. D.
0. Fry, at the R. S. Box funeral
home, Seaforth, on Friday af-
ternoon at 2 p.m. Burial will
follow in Staffa cemetery.

Mrs. Jim Axtmann opened the
devotional part of the meeting
with a poem, "Hail To -The
King" and read the scripture
lesson, Psalm 45, verses 1-10,
whieh was followed by prayer.
"Tis Winter Now, the Fallen
Snow" was sung and Mrs. Axt-
mann suggested at this time of
year we should renew the pur-
pose of our UCW and read this
from the membership cards.
She also gave an introduction
to the new study book for 1968
which is "Japan Profiles". The
ladies were divided into three
groups and given material to
look up under the headings of
climate and geography of Jap-
an, dress, customs and govern-
ment. Mrs. Axtmann gave the
final summing .up. Rev. J. C.
Britton closed the meeting with
prayer.
