Doug was presented With a pen & pencil set as a parting gift, in recognition of his faithful service for the past ten years. A. sing song followed, and the evening was enjoyed' by all. Saturday morning Mrs. John MacDougall of Blyth, very graciously came to Huronview and gave a piano recital.. This was much appreciated by the residents, and gave them a chance to hear some very fine music, If weather permits, Mrs.. Mac- Dougall plans on coming back to play. At the church service on Sunday morning, the choir sang "He lovingly guards every footstep", Mrs. Hend- erson was at the organ. Mts. Luther held a sorvice on Sunday evening, and the choir again contributed to the Progranime, with Mrs, Hen- derson playing the piano and Mr, Cecil Skinner playing his 'violin. • Mrs, Elsie Henderson, Jim Ruddock, and Cecil Skinner provided the. music for Old Tyme Music on Monday afternoon, A Christmas din- ner was served, on Wednes- day to 24 residents who work for the craft room throughout the year. - After everyone could eat no more, guests entertained themselves with a variety -:programme. This was their way of showing their appreciation to these hard working residents, who do SO much in their own quiet ways. • Ed Stiles provided the organ music in the chapel .on Thursday afternoon.
