1 can cream Of chieken•,SouP
% cup milk
6 servings cooked chicken or .turkey
6 slices toast
To make sauce, in saucepan•, combine
soup and; milk, Heat, stir occasionally.,
Arrange chicken on toast, pour sauce a over
all. (Makes 6 sandwiches).

SUPPER CASSEROLE
11/2 lbs ground; beef
3 cups cooked rice
1 can tomatoes 19oz or your own canned.

'/a cup gratedcheese, salt and pepper,;
onion, celery and green•pepPer.
Method -1 medium onion cut fine, 1 cup
choppedcelery and ' green pepper if you
have it. Put in frying, with some dripping
or crisco oil just enough to :simmer and
brown a little, then .add ground beef and
simmer 10 fain until brown and keep
storing:. Then put a. layer of rice, layer of
hamburg, grated cheese until all used add
1 tsp of salt and dash of pepper to taste;
lastly pour the tomatoes over the top and°
bake at 300• for about 1' . hrs. until
browned..

BAKED BEANS:
Lc/3. cup: dry white beans
3 cups cold water
21/2 tsp. soy. sauce (1st amt)
In large pot in which they can be cooked
dater. Soakovtrnight, If to be served at6.
p.m. at 2 p.m. put beans on to cook in
liquid on them. Cook .'%a hr. Now add 4 slices.

'14 tsp garlic salt
1, undiluted can cream tomato. soup .
14 oz. pineapple crushed including juice
2 tbsp. molasses
2 tbsp. brown sugar'
1 tbspsoy sauce
Put into bean pot or casserole, withtight
fitting lid. Bake at 325° for 3 hours, stirring,
• twice during baking period.

BAVARIAN PORK CHOPS.
4 thick park chops
1 can cream of mushroom soup'
'/• cup milk
',h cup chopped onion,
/r tsp caraway seed
'generous dash of pepper
1 small head of cabbage, sliced.
2 cups sliced carrots,
In frying pan, .brown chops (use
shortening if necessary) Pour off fat. Stir in,
soup, onion, and seasoning, cover. Co*
.over low heat 25 Minutes, add vegetables,.
cook 20 minutes more or until done, •
Stir occasionally. Uncover, cook to desired,
consistency.

MEAT LOAF CUPS
Ira cup undiluted evaporated milk;
' . lb ground beef
'/3 cup fine dry bread crumbs
2 tbsp chopped onion
2 tbsp chopped green pepper
1 tbsp prepared mustard
'l. tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
Combine ingredients in; bowl. Mix
lightly. Fill muffin tins 'A full. Bake in
moderate oven, 375° 12 to 15 minutes,;:

SALMON SALAD,
Remove bones and: skin from one can
salmon. Drain off liquid. Mix with French
dressing or thin mayonnaise, set aside for'
awhile in refrigerator. Serve on lettuce
leaves.
BIRD'S NEST SALAD
One half cupfu l cream cheese,
one half teaspoon paprika •
. 1 tablespoon parsley.:,
French dressing
lettuce
Roll the. cheese into balls .3' ape and
size of bird's eggs. Flea with bits . of
parsley and. paprika. Place four eggs in.
each nest of clips lettuce. Pour French
dressing over the lettuce. 'Keep in a cool
place till°'ready to serve..
FRUIT SALAD,
2 oranges
2 bananas
'/2 ib green grapes
1 cup pineapple •
'/2 cup sugar
Cutthe oranges and bananas' into small
pieces, add other ingredients and let stand
until ready to use. Serve on a lettuce leaf
with whippedcream flavoured with
'mayonnaise. Garnish with crushed walnut's.

or good cold.

1 heaping tbsp. flour
Mix 1 can Eagle brand milk and 2 cups
coconut Spread on first mixture'. Bake 20
min. at 350. If you 'use a glass . pan. Bake
.:325.8" x 9" square cake pan. Ice with pink
butter icing. Very, rich.

6 oz. pkg. (1 cup) Butterscotch chips
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
8 oz. pkg. mixed candied fruits;
4 oz. pkg. marshmallows, finely cut or 2'
cups miniature marshmallows
2 rips dessicated cocoanut
Melt chipits in a 21 qt. '.bowl, over hot.
water. Stir in cream cheese,' candied fruit,
and marshmallows until well mixed.' Shape
into balls, logsor patties. Roll in cocoanut.

11/2 cups 'corn flake crumbs<
3 tbsp. sugar
t/2 cup melted butter,
1 cup chopped walnuts,
1 cup semi sweet chocolate. chips:
11/9 cups flaked coconut •
1 can eagle brand .milk
Method: Mix corn flakes, sugar and
melted butter. Pat into pan 13 x 9" sprinkle
walnuts evenly over that. Scatter choc,
chips over walnuts. Sprinkle coconut over.
Next pour milkevenly over coconut , Bake.
in 350 oven about 25: minutes or until
lightly browned.

1 cup white sugar,.
1 cup brown' sugar
1 cup soft margarine
1 cup crunchy peanut butter'
2 large eggs.
Cream well add shake salt, 1 teaspoon.
vanilla, cream more add 1 good cup
oatmeal, dissolve 1 teaspoon soda in 1
tablespoon of cold water, 2 cups flour.
'Drop by spoonfuls and press with fork..
Makes six dozen.

Melt butter, peanut butter, chipits and'

1 teaspoon vanilla
