He said he was paid 51800 a year by the village and received about another 51500 from the county and spent about 20 hours a week on; council business. • Main Street businessmen - Were at the meeting to complain about paying for the costs of the new parking lot. The businessmen re- ceiveda letter earlier saying they would be responsible for the costs.- , The businessmen claimed_ it wasn't clear in the letter. that the parking lot should pay for itself in parking fees' and that profits from the beach parking lot would go towards the new lot. • Council members said they asked businessmen to , piek up any deficitt that might • occur.
