A ladies' ball league is in no way unique
to Seaforth. but the sport la not ;warts as
common as it is among the men, In
Mitchell, the women have a league of their
own, but it IS felt by some to be too
compethivelYOUsed, removing some of the
fun;
Girls travel from Hensall, Brucefield.
Mitchell and Bro dhagen to play on '
Seaforth teams, The terns themselves do
little to no traVellin,g, except for the one
tournament being held in Woodstock in
August. Last season, two teams went down
to the tourney, to, play teams from around
Southern Ontario, Unfortunately, the good
• time they had was not equalled by their
game resalts.
Admissi on to the women's Tuesday
night games is free, and the new stands
built by the Optimists provide plenty of
seating. If you are at a loss for something
to do on a warm, Tuesday evening this
summer, or the mid -week blues seem to be
setting in, why not take in a game or two?
The enthusiasm displayed by the girls, and
the fun they have, quickly spreads through
out the crowd.
