Seaforth police report
Seaforth police experi-
enced another quiet week,
with only one minor accident
in the last seven days.
On Sunday afternoon. a
car driven by Donald Flood of
Stratford was proceeding
west on Goderich Street
West when a vehicle driven
by Richard Stewart of Sea -
forth, proceeding south on
West William Street, ran into
the Flood vehicle.
The Stewart vehicle
received $50. in damages
Nearly 1 0 youn
and the Flood car, $250. in from his garage. Police chief •
John Cairns said charges are
now pending agairist a Clin-
ton residenti. •
The chief also .reported a
white sarnoyed dog was hit
by a car on North Main Street
on the weekend. Attempts to
locate the owner have proved
unsuccessful. If the dog's
owner couldn't. be found by
Wednesday, 'the animal
would have to be destroyed..

Thanks for the many prefty
flowers that decorated St.
Peter's Lutheran Church,
Brodhagen. There were 2
pots of yellow mums in
memory of Mrs. J. L.
Bennewies, who passed
away seven years ago. They
wre placed there by her
family.
There were also two
baskets of lovely flowers and
some that giiced the altar,
placed there by the family of
the late Mrs. Les Weitersen,
whose funeral was held on
Saturday the memorial
service was conducted by
Pastor Arthur Horst, Some of
the Lutheran League
participated. Sunday morning
service.
There were 97 gathered
at the St. Peter's Church
Western District Synod
Youth event. A delicious pot
luck dinner meal was
provided by the L.C.W.
• Ladies. The day ended with
all the young people enjoying
a camp fire. '
We are so sorry to report
• that Mr. George Weisenberg
'was recently moved from
• Seaforth Hospital to General
Hospital in Stratford where
he underwent surgery and
• had his leg amputated. All
his friends and relatives pray
for good healing, '
