family arguments that arise
from the studying and pre-
parations for the exams? The
exams are important because
they make up to 40 percent
of our report card mark. At
15:00 on Monday. February
26 everyone yelled out. a sigh
of relief when the'exams
were completed:. This relief
was short - .lived'. ,.'since we
spent the zest of the week
getting . -oui, . exam, . papers
back and taking them home
of Mom and Dad.

For indoor activities;
1. We watched movies about
snow and winter activities.
2. We painted abig'mural
and: cut out people and their
clothing for the mural.
3. We wrote stories, poems;
and descriptive winter
words.. '
For outdoor ,acitvities we:
went outside Monday.

the senior students. of
Seaforth .Public School met in
the gym • to have 'the
speeches. There were .two
representatives'from each of
the four classes. The com-
petitors were • 'Cathy

Rack, Joanne Johnson,.
Sandra. . Hunt, Melinda
Gomes.' and Michelle J ones.
The various topics Were the
year of 1978, the years at
S.P. School, Skateboarding,
The Grand Old Opry, Helen
Keller, Cheese,vandalisnt
and Shirley ; Temple. All
speeches were done quite
well. There were two
students chosen to represent
the senior division of our
school at the Legion. They
were Cathy MeGavin,
speaking on "The Year of
1978 and. Sandra Hunt.
whose topic was "Cheese"..
Sandra plated second: in the
competition at the Legion.

public.

9:00 o'clock in: the morning,
The public school kids from

Gayle Yander 'Velden. our
students' .04,01 president,
introduced them. To start the,
act off,. Frank, one of the
Tramp Champs, spoke for, a
few miniutes on the safety;
techniques of performing on
a trampoline. He talked':
about the different types, of:
trampolines. He told us

,about the competitions they
have been in and showed us
;.also how to balance on a
trampoline.
Then, Frank and Clyde (the
other tramp champ) did their
routine to music, and then
'did the basic jumps.
Clyde showed us the dif-
ferent jumpsand showed
how someone' t would be
coached. He talked about
their different tricks.
Then he got Frank to do
what they considered .a.
