Seaforth ,firenen were called out on
Saturday to exting4ish a chimney fire at the
Iiome of Mervyn Lane, R.R.4, Seaforth.
Seaforth fire chief Harry Hak said firemen
• used extinguishers to put out the fire, and

Council passed a borrowing by -lair for
5600,000 to meet current expenditures of the
township until taxes are collected in order to
carry on township business.
Passed for payment were the following
accounts totalling S33,241.48; Vanastra Day s- •
Care, 53,916.31; Vafiastra ;Recreation
Centre,. 56,670.94; roads,, 514,506.54 and
general, 58.147.69. •
The meeting was adjourned at 12:15 a.m.
