In Memoriam
MALONEYt In loving mem-
ory of a dear son Joe who
passed away 3 years ago.
December 26, 1980
We do not need a special day.
Joe.
To bring you to our minds.
The days we do not think of
you.
Would be very hard to find.
They say that time heals all
sorrow.
And helps us to forget. •
But time so far has only
proved.
How much we miss you yet
To know we never said
goodbye
Will always -bring, regret.
But the hearts that love you
Joe,
Are the hearts that won't
forget
Many times we've missed
you,
Many times we've cried.,.
But if our love could have
saved you.
You never would have died.
Lovingly remembered by
Mom and Dad.

IN Heaven
While you look down upomit
The home you Once adored,
You're spending your first
Christmas
Dear sister ,Helen with your
Lord.
While your dear face we're
missing
Around our festive board;
You're seated at His table,
Dear sister Helen with your
Lord.,
Couldn't wish her back from
Heaven
Oh no: we can't afford
To call back to this sinful
world
My sister from her Lord.
No gifts have 1 to offer:
But my . heart's love out
poured:
Will th u accept my offering
And give it to Helen Lord
Oh sympathizing Saviour
To whom her spirit soared
Help me to spend this Christ•
mas
Without my sister Lord
No one heard the' silent
footsteps
Of the Angels drawing near
To take away to Heaven
My sister Igved so dear.

Jewish Canadians choose one of the eight
evenings for a warm family party, inviting
the extended family; all the relatives,
children, and out of town people who are
away from their family.
The foods served are family favorites, not
fussy foods, perhaps there will be a roast
bcef or chicken. Latkes potato pancakes, are
often served at Chanukah because of the
historical significance of oil. Latkes ire made
with grated potato and onilcn, eggs matzo
meal, baking powder and seasoned with salt
and freshly ground vetiver.
