What a furor those Cabbage Kids (dolls)

As you read this 1 should be enjoying a
Christmas vacation in.Winnipeg with my son
David and his family. Having always found
air flights very pleasant does not alay a bit of
nervousness about flying in the winter. That
does not. mean only in the air. A vivid • .
imagination can bring flashes of all kinds of
mishaps - long delayed flights. cancelled
' flights, being stranded in .an airport. being
storm -bound -somewhere between Winnipeg
and Brussels. All this would be not only
aggravating but would be: to one with my

But. off 1 shall go hopeful that nothing

this. there 1 will be, safe and of sound mind in
Winnipeg.

During the joy of the Christmas; season,
some people will inevitably suffer loss and
sorrow. That came to me last week with the
word of the death of a dearly beloved uncle.
Harold Chapman, the last member of my
