Volunteers keep
sitting room open
Though the Outreach Artisan project
ended Nov. 11, volunteers are keeping the
Sitting Room open at the Van Egmond
House until Dec.4 to continue selling the
products of over 30 local craftspeople.
"They (the craftspeople) were „all quite
keen about the project. I think ithelped them
and 1 know it'Vas a good added feature to the
House; it really added to the traffic through m
the House," says Lynda Jones, project
director of Outreach Artisan which began
last Easter.
Two foundation members, one craftsper-
son and Mrs. Jones are 'helping out until
Dec. 4 when a special family day is planned
to celebrate Christmas. Children will be able
to make Christmas decor&!Twinkles
